Brembo S.p.A. comunica che l’Ingegner Riccardo Cesarini, dopo oltre 16 anni di attività nel ruolo di Direttore di Performance Group, a partire dal 1 marzo 2017 lascerà l’Azienda per perseguire nuove sfide professionali. Durante gli anni della sua gestione, ha garantito lo sviluppo e la crescita costante del business Racing, contribuendo in modo diretto al successo di Brembo nel mondo.
Brembo desidera ringraziare l’Ingegner Riccardo Cesarini per il grande contributo personale e professionale dato all’Azienda in questi anni, augurandogli tutto il meglio per il suo nuovo futuro professionale.
La piena continuità in termini di strategia di business e di conoscenza tecnica di un settore così competitivo e rappresentativo come quello del Racing sarà garantita dall’arrivo di Mario Almondo, attuale Presidente e Amministratore Delegato di Brembo China, che succederà a Riccardo Cesarini, assumendo il ruolo di Direttore di Performance Group.
Mario Almondo, laureato in Ingegneria delle Tecnologie Industriali al Politecnico di Milano, ha un lungo trascorso professionale in Ferrari, dove tra il 1991 e il 2013 ha ricoperto con successo posizioni apicali, sia in Gestione Industriale sia in quella Sportiva, tra le quali Direttore Industriale e Direttore Tecnico della Scuderia. Lasciata Ferrari nel 2013 per perseguire nuovi obiettivi imprenditoriali nel mondo delle start-up, nel 2015 è entrato in Brembo per assumere la responsabilità del mercato cinese.
Brembo S.p.A. announces that Riccardo Cesarini, after more than 16 years of activity in his role of Performance Group Director, as of March 1st 2017 will leave the Company to pursue new professional challenges. His long-term management has guaranteed the development and the constant growth of the Racing business, directly contributing to the global success of Brembo.

The full continuity in terms of business strategy and technical know-how of such a competitive and representative sector as Racing will be guaranteed by the arrival of Mario Almondo, the present Chairman and CEO of Brembo China which will take over Riccardo Cesarini’s role of Brembo Performance Group Director.
Mario Almondo, graduated in Industrial Technologies Engineering at Milan’s Politecnico university, has built a long professional experience at Ferrari where, between 1991 and 2013, has successfully held senior positions as Industrial Director and Technical Director of the F1 Team both in Maranello’s Gestione Industriale and Gestione Sportiva. After leaving
Ferrari in 2013 to follow new entrepreneurial opportunities in the domain of start-ups, he arrived at Brembo in 2015 to take over the responsibility for the Chinese market.
