“I cannot be more thankful! To take part in the 24 hours of Dubai with Abt Racing, a factory Audi team, is a huge challenge but, at the same time, it is a sort of opportunity you couldn´t let pass. Besides, considering I will drive the new Audi R8 LMS ultra. I was given a hearty welcome at Audi family, even visiting their new facilities close to Ingolstadt. I attended the Essen Motor Show, which is currently taking place, as well. Really nice!”, Tutumlu underlines. The Barcelona-born driver explains that “our driver line-up is extremely competitive. It is mandatory to have at least a Gentleman driver, but we should have a strong line-up and be ready to fight for the win”. Finally, he concludes “I would like to thank everyone for giving me the opportunity to join Abt Racing. I work on several options for 2016 season. The first one is to contest the ADAC GT Masters with Abt Racing. Another possibility is the Blancpain Series with another manufacturer part of the VAG Group. We have to keep working on them!”
