The only British team in the series has carried out a positive Winter testing with its drivers Yarin Stern and Tanart Sathienthirakul
With less than three weeks for the official season kickoff at the Circuito de Jerez, teams and drivers wind up preparations for a new season ahead. Team West-Tec is one of them. The team managed by John Miller has carried out an extremely positive performance in the Winter Series events held. With Thailand´s Tanart Sathitnhirakul finishing 5th and 6th for the British outfit at Paul Ricard, the Thai and his teammate Yarin Stern shone in Barcelona as the Israeli was the only man to break the 1m 39s barrier as he lapped in the series record pace of 1.38.8. Sathienthirakul finished just 0.2s behind.
John Miller stressed that “Yarin and Tanart were very, very quick at Barcelona. In fact we have been super-fast at each of the three Winter Series venues, so that is really positive for the season. We are going to finish the pre-season with some private testing back in the UK before heading back to Jerez which has always been a happy hunting ground for the team”.
After this private testing now scheduled, the team is beginning to ramp-up to the first EuroFormula Open race meeting at Jerez in mid-April.
