THE TIPO 6 LMH COMPETIZIONE DEBUTS ON THE TRACK IN THE LEGENDARY 24 HOURS OF LE MANS


One of the most highly awaited events for international motorsport enthusiasts is fast approaching.. Only a few days remain until the start of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, a blend of speed, endurance, and technique, mixed with a high dose of adrenaline.

The Isotta Fraschini Tipo 6 LMH Competizione, after its successful performance at Spa-Francorchamps, will face its rivals for the first time on the Circuit de la Sarthe, in the most historic and fascinating competition of the World Endurance Championship.

On the track, 23 Hypercars, 16 LMP2, and 23 LMGT3 will race, giving their all starting from 4:00 PM on Saturday, June 15, when the green light will signal the start of the prestigious race.

At the helm is the well-coordinated Isotta Fraschini Duqueine Team, composed of Vernay, Bennett, and Serravalle, Drivers who will compete with great determination in the world’s craziest and most beloved endurance race, which hides dangers that should not be underestimated, among the nine brands in the main category.

Jean-Karl Vernay: “I am extremely happy to be back here for the second time, 11 years after my first participation and win in GT. Now, being able to compete in the hypercar class is something huge. It is going to be very long and intense week, with a lot of testing for us. This will be very helpful compared to the previous race, as we will have track time, which is very valuable. We will be much closer to our competitors. I’m pretty confident that this will be a big help for us, and we’ll do our best”.

Carl Wattana Bennett: “It’s a dream come true, it’s the biggest race I’ve ever competed in, and it will be the first time for me at circuit de la Sarthe. 24 Hours will be a big challenge: driving in different conditions and late hours of the day however I am ready and focused. The team and myself continue to improve throughout the season and I am confident we will keep heading in that direction at Le Mans”.

Antonio Serravalle: “Racing in the 24 Hours of Le Mans has been a dream of mine since I was a kid. It’s one of the best races in the world and a part of the Triple Crown of Motorsport. I’m thoroughly enjoying racing in Europe and learning all the tracks. Sometimes the challenge is quite tough because I only have 10 laps to learn the tracks before we start the race. However, I’m embracing it and looking forward to Le Mans. The Isotta Fraschini Duqueine team is continuously improving, and being here is proof of that”.

Max Favard (Team Manager): “Le Mans 24h is a special moment on a season. It’s the highest challenge for the team, driver and car. And it will be the first one for the Isotta Fraschini Duqueine. We jump in this event with the ambition of first finish the race and avoid all the mistakes. Result will come respecting this targets”.

The 24 Hours of Le Mans, which attracted 325,000 attendees last year, will take place this year in conjunction with the 120th anniversary of the FIA. This significant date features an impressive entry list and a rich, varied program.

The series of events will kick off on Friday, June 7, with technical inspections in downtown, continuing the next day. On Sunday, June 9, official tests and the first on-track session.

Free practice and qualifying sessions will be held on Wednesday, June 12, and Thursday, June 13, culminating in the start of the toughest and competitive race of the championship at 4:00 PM on Saturday, June 15.

Intense focus and rigorous training are essential for the Isotta Fraschini Duqueine Team as they prepare to hit the track at the French Circuit de la Sarthe.
